what is spiritual direction?
Spiritual Direction is a sacred and profound practice aimed at fostering spiritual growth and creating or deepening one's connection to their faith and inner self. Through the guidance of a Spiritual Director, individuals are offered a supportive and nonjudgmental space to explore their spiritual journey, reflect on their experiences, and discern the presence of the divine in their lives. In this nurturing environment, seekers can gain new insights, clarity, and a sense of peace as they navigate the complexities of their beliefs, doubts, and aspirations. Spiritual direction is not about providing answers, but rather about asking the right questions and accompanying individuals as they unravel the mysteries of their spirituality, ultimately leading them to a deeper understanding of themselves and their place in the universe.
Kathryn’s approach to spiritual direction?
Kathryn is a seeker herself and as such has learned the essential value of listening, to yourself and others, above all else. With this mindset, she helps each client determine what questions they are asking in their lives, what influence make up their unique understanding of the universe and where their curiosity is leading them.
Kathryn works with a variety of modalities including narrative therapy, therapeutic modalities, somatic tools, music and rituals from a variety of source traditions and to create a journey for clients that ultimately helps them build a foundational spiritual practice of their own.
Kathryn is also the founder of Pollinate Ritual and Hive House which includes a robust community of seekers and fellow practitioners from multiple disciplines. All of which is accessible as part of our work together.
Ritual
Ritual is the focal point of a soul-centered life and Kathryn can help you build special rituals for life’s rites of passage (birth, joining ceremonies, naming ceremonies, death rituals, homing rituals, anniversary rituals, transition (divorce) rituals, vision questing, or any occasion you would like to bring special meaning to. Kathryn facilitates several multi-day retreats throughout the year including Pollinate Women’s Weekend, Pollinate Maiden’s Weekend, Crone Fire, and Lilith Weekend (invite only) .
